North York General Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Services team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient and family-centered care in a supportive and culturally sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to assess, educate, and prevent patient health issues
- Develop and implement effective care plans to promote patient well-being
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
- Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and technologies to provide evidence-based care
Requirements:
- Registered Practical Nursing diploma from a recognized Community College
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum 2 years of acute medical/surgical nursing experience
- Experience working in emergency departments and/or ambulatory urgent care spaces an asset
