Food Service Team Lead

Join the Subway Beamsville team as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a leadership role in our kitchen operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet our business needs.
- Requisition Supplies: Order and manage food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Culinary Knowledge: Possess knowledge of our establishment's culinary genres and menu offerings.
- Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to meet our business needs.
- Accessibility Training: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Cross-Cultural Training: Offer diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
- Youth Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Indigenous Support: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Work Details: This is a permanent position with 37.5 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
