About the Position: The Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Cultural Committee. This committee plays a vital role in representing and furthering our community's culture and cultural activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the community on the Cultural Committee
  • Participate in and contribute to cultural events and activities
  • Foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of our Anishinaabe culture

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated interest and commitment to Anishinaabe culture
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Chief & Council and Heads People
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Selection Process:

The selection process will be managed by the Chief & Council and Heads People. A total of five individuals will be chosen to serve until April 2026. We encourage interested candidates to submit their letters of interest, highlighting their personal background, reasons for interest, and relevant qualifications.
