Winter Maintenance Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Winter Patroller to join our winter maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing road maintenance activities on provincial highways, responding to emergency situations, and assisting in implementing an emergency plan.
As a Winter Patroller, you will be working in extreme weather conditions, and it is essential that you have a strong commitment to safety and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform road maintenance activities on provincial highways
- Respond to emergency situations, such as spills and accidents, during inclement weather
- Assist in implementing an emergency plan and providing traffic control at accident scenes
- Maintain accurate documentation, including fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service
- Maintain and clean equipment, conducting routine maintenance and minor repairs
- DZ license
- Experience in snow and ice control, along with knowledge of OTM Book 7
- Knowledge of highway maintenance
- Ability to work assigned shifts, extended hours, and in extreme weather conditions
