Registered Nurse

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Bone Marrow Transplant team at Vancouver General Hospital. As a Registered Nurse Med/Surg in Bone Marrow Transplant, you will provide nursing care to assigned patients/clients working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary care team. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating client care, participating in discharge planning, functioning as a client advocate, and teaching clients and their families about illness/injury and overall health promotion and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to assigned patients/clients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care
- Participate in discharge planning
- Function as a client advocate
- Teach clients and their families about illness/injury and overall health promotion and wellness
Qualifications:
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
