Risk Management Director

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective underwriting strategies to ensure the company provides an exceptional customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Underwriting Team Leadership- Provide strategic direction to the Underwriting department, ensuring all teams are adequately resourced to meet business goals.
- Manage resources and capacity planning to optimize team performance.
- Work with the underwriting management team to measure and monitor team performance, output, and productivity using effective Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Optimize performance of underwriting processes through assessing functional process needs and priorities.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and leaders in the mortgage industry.
- Effectively influence customers and stakeholders to drive business results.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Analytics, Sales, IT, and Risk, to assess and support operations business strategy and initiatives.
- Ensure a best-in-class customer experience through collaborative efforts.
The successful candidate will have 7+ years of leadership experience in the mortgage lending industry, with a proven track record of delivering top-line results. In-depth understanding of financial services and mortgage insurance is essential.
