Accommodations and Ergonomics Specialist

Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating accommodation and ergonomic solutions to ensure a safe and inclusive work environment. Your expertise in Kinesiology, Occupational Therapy, or Physiotherapy will be invaluable in providing high-quality support to our clients and their employees.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the end-to-end case management of accommodation for disabilities and return to work absence, ensuring all Service Level Agreement measures are met.

• Conduct thorough telephonic or in-person intakes to determine employee abilities and workplace barriers, collecting relevant medical and non-medical information to assess individual needs.

• Develop and implement individual accommodation plans, identifying the most appropriate accommodations and solutions, and documenting all client contact in electronic and written formats.

• Implement, monitor, and update plans, providing regular reviews to ensure effectiveness and making adjustments as needed.

• Maintain frequent client communication to review reports, provide customer service, and maintain quality standards, consistently interacting to address client needs and ensure high satisfaction and performance levels.

Requirements

• Experience and education in Kinesiology, Occupational Therapy, or Physiotherapy, or relevant certification in a related field.

• Demonstrate initiative and handle difficult situations in a fast-paced environment with multiple time-sensitive priorities.

• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as time management and organizational skills.

• Display advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, and web-based applications.

• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and client relationship skills, with regular interaction with internal and external clients.
