About the Role:

A.K. Landscaping Services Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Team Lead to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of landscapers, overseeing grounds maintenance, and ensuring high-quality results. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including hiring contractors as needed
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials for projects
  • Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs
  • Repair and maintain equipment
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers
  • Establish work schedules and procedures

  • Physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting
