Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at TOPWEST CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Job Summary:

The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings, bridges, and other structures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts and designs for construction projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Install and repair roofs, walls, floors, and other structural elements.
  • Maintain and repair existing structures, including woodwork, carpentry, and other related tasks.
  • Work in a team environment to complete projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability and accuracy in completing tasks.
Work Environment:

The Carpenter will work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, factories, and other industrial environments.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Working Hours:

35 hours per week.
