HOMMEE HOMES LTD. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial structures.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare building layouts and ensure compliance with building codes.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Maintain and repair residential and commercial structures, including wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
- Permanent employment.
- English language support.
- 40 hours of work per week.
