Automotive Refinishing Technician Apprentice

We're seeking a full-time 2nd or 3rd year Automotive Refinishing Tech Apprentice at our Queensway location in Prince George. Our competitive starting wages range from $20-$24 per hour. As part of our mentorship program, apprentices receive a start-up tool kit from the company upon successful completion of the Red Seal certification and one additional year of employment.

Key Responsibilities- Assist journeyman technicians in all duties.
- Document in-progress repairs, including photo documentation.
- Maintain painting tools and equipment.
- Mix paints and primers to exact specifications.
- Assist in cleaning and polishing painted surfaces and imperfections to meet Craftsman standards.
- Review work orders.
- Maintain shop equipment and facility.
- Have completed pre-apprentice training in collision repair or be in their first or second year of apprenticeship.
- Be comfortable in a team-oriented environment.
- Have a strong work ethic, integrity, and ambition to succeed.
- Hold a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years.
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions.
