The AFP Golden Horseshoe Chapter is seeking an exceptional Stewardship Officer to play a vital role in cultivating meaningful relationships with donors and stakeholders. As part of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing customized stewardship plans that showcase the impact of donor generosity on patient care.

A key member of our Events and Donor Experiences team, you will work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Your superb organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will be invaluable assets in this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive stewardship strategies that foster strong relationships between donors and the Oakville Hospital Foundation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to gather information for stewardship reports, letters, and other materials.
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of donor acknowledgement and appreciation letters, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Cultivate and execute donor tours, events, and other activities that promote engagement and recognition.
  • Manage and maintain the Giftmap recognition database, ensuring up-to-date records and accurate tracking.
  • Work with the Communications team to develop innovative strategies for effective donor stewardship, including video content, e-newsletters, email, and social media.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working with donors, volunteers, and leadership staff in a fundraising or related context.
  • Excellent customer service orientation, interpersonal skills, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Results-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
  • Flexibility to work both remotely and on-site, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
