Critical Care Flight Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified registered nurse to join our team as a Critical Care Flight Nurse with Ambulance New Brunswick. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic out-of-hospital environment.
About the RoleThis position involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide critical care to patients requiring transportation by air ambulance. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide critical care to patients during air transport
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in pre-flight planning and preparation
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience caring for critically ill or injured patients
- Previous experience in flight nursing or transport nursing duties (an asset)
- The ability to successfully complete required flight training, including but not limited to: flight physiology, flight safety, and land and sea survival training
- Written & Spoken competence in English
Ambulance New Brunswick offers a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $113,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
