Heavy Duty Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Regional Sewer and Watermain Ltd. in maintaining heavy-duty equipment.
About the JobThis permanent full-time position involves troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing issues using computerized testing equipment, adjusting equipment, and repairing or replacing defective parts.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and a strong attention to detail. They must be able to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in physically demanding conditions.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, and benefits such as physical accessibility accommodations and participation in government programs supporting newcomers and Indigenous people.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose issues using computerized testing equipment
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
- Perform repair work on heavy trucks
