This is a unique opportunity to work in a busy 200+ bed community teaching hospital, serving a diverse population and handling approximately 60,000 ED visits per year.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective care
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest medical practices and technologies
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification (desired)
- Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Provisional
- Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Emergency Medicine certification (desired)
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) eligibility
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL) certification
