We are seeking an experienced Executive Director of Logistics and Operations to join our team at JPS Trucking Ltd.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position that will involve overseeing the logistics and operations functions of the company, including allocating resources, establishing financial and administrative controls, and coordinating the work of regions, divisions or departments.
Main Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
- Operational Management: Coordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments, and establish financial and administrative controls.
- Team Leadership: Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a senior management role.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
