Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Summary:

Magna Exteriors is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and connect electrical wiring, conduit, and apparatus in buildings and on equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions and faults in machinery and equipment
  • Test and inspect electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Requirements:

  • Industrial Trade certification as Industrial Electrician and/or PLC certification
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
  • PLC and programming experience
  • Ability to create, manipulate, and follow robot programs for ABB, Fanuc, Panasonic for repair and modification purposes
  • Mig, Stick, and Tig welding
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic fundamentals and principles
  • Certification in one or more robot programming courses (ABB, Fanuc, Panasonic)
  • Experience with Labview is an asset
  • Experience with troubleshooting robots
  • Overhead crane license
  • Forklift license
  • Tier 1 automotive manufacturing experience
