About the Role

Mehraz Building Dreams Inc. is seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and ensuring a smooth and even finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Install acoustic tile, hangers for suspended ceilings, and metal studs for composition wallboard or lath
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete tasks
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty and noisy environments
  • Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to work under pressure
  • Client focus, dependability, flexibility, judgement, reliability, and team player skills
Work Environment

As a Drywall Specialist, you will work in various locations, including construction sites and offices. You will be required to work at heights, in dusty and noisy environments, and may be exposed to tight deadlines and pressure to complete tasks.
