We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at the Centennial Centre for Mental Health and Brain Injury in Ponoka. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive care to seniors with complex mental health needs.
About the Role:- Provide assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation programs for seniors with psychiatric illnesses, such as dementia and mood disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote optimal functioning and community integration.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and quality patient-centered care.
- Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families.
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatric nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
