As an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist at Peninsula Canada, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our clients across Ontario.

Salary: $82,500 per year (based on a 37.5-hour workweek and assuming a salary range of $75,000 - $90,000)

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide expert advice, support, and recommendations to our clients on health and safety matters, working closely with our team to ensure that our services meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive follow-up to clients regarding advice, solutions, and recommendations
  • Perform client installation visits to assess their health and safety needs
  • Liaise with government officials and other third parties on behalf of clients under the supervision of our management team
  • Complete internal reports following client visits
  • Analyze client policies and documentation to provide accurate advice and recommendations
  • Advise clients on using our health and safety management system
  • Achieve internal key performance indicators

Requirements:

  • A degree, diploma, or certificate from an accredited education or health and safety training program
  • CRST/CRSP certification is mandatory
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in health and safety
  • Strong knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act
