Operational Leader for Northgate Grain Terminal

We are seeking a skilled Operational Leader to oversee the day-to-day activities of our Northgate grain terminal. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the facility, managing staff and resources effectively, and driving business growth through strategic planning and execution.
About the Role
As an Operational Leader at Ceres Global Ag Corp., you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Managing the overall operation of the Northgate grain terminal, including grain handling, storage, and transportation
• Supervising and coordinating the activities of various teams, including administrative, commercial, and operations personnel
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive growth
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed
• Analyzing data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a plant operations capacity, with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving results
• Strong technical knowledge of grain handling and storage operations, as well as experience with project management and process improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Proven business acumen, with experience developing and executing business plans and strategies
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, business administration, or agriculture
