Pharmacist - Community Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Medication Management: Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
- Inventory Management: Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplements inventory levels are adequate to meet patients' needs.
- Patient Counseling: Counsel patients in regards to new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive interaction.
- Public Relations: Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.).
- Customer Service: Provide timely and positive resolution to patients' needs and doctors' requests/issues.
- Cost Control: Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary).
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs).
- Education: Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license is a must.
- Skills: Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and performance management skills required.
- Marketing: Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, including the experience formulating and executing action plans.
- Technology: Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of HealthWatch Pharmacy Computer system is a definite asset.
