Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare providers in delivering high-quality in-home care services to clients. This is a hands-on community health position that requires a strong understanding of geriatric care and the ability to adapt to changing client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for clients and families, incorporating their individual needs and preferences.
  2. Lead and manage a team of healthcare providers, providing ongoing coaching and performance management to ensure exceptional client interactions.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage acute illnesses or other challenges, ensuring seamless care transitions.
  4. Ensure shift coverage for callouts and sick calls, providing direct hands-on care for clients as needed.

Requirements

  • A current and valid license in Alberta as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Paramedic.
  • A minimum of five years of healthcare experience, preferably in a community setting.
  • A minimum of two years of leadership experience and managing others.
  • Current and valid CPR certification.
