Job Title: Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at GK Renovations Services Inc. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles on walls and floors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
  • Install tiles, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Apply grout to joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
  • Install tile strips.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in tile setting.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30 hours per week.
