Job Title: Tile Setter

At SK HOME DESIGNS, we are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles on walls and floors, ensuring a high-quality finish and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring and marking walls and floors.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surfaces.
  • Set tiles in place, using hand tools and power tools as needed, to achieve a level and even surface.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout to create a clean and finished look.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Install tile strips and other decorative elements to enhance the overall appearance of the installation.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in tile setting or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and patterns.
Working Conditions:
