Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Ontario Potato Dist. (Alliston) Inc. 1991.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems. They will also be responsible for advertising vacancies, contacting contractors for repairs, and performing safety and security checks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Advertise vacancies and contact contractors for repairs.
  • Perform safety and security checks.
  • Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants.
  • Supervise other workers.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Dependability, initiative, judgement, and organized.
