Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced chef to join our team at ST-HUBERT MAGOG. As a second chef, you will play a key role in the success of our kitchen and contribute to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the head chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and safe food handling practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, as well as health and safety regulations.
