Construction Project Coordinator

As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate activities, resources, equipment, and information to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of construction process knowledge and project scheduling experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a construction supervisor/foreman is required, with a proven track record in the restoration/emergency industry. The ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate commitment to customer service excellence is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and Coordination: Reviews, schedules, and oversees all in-house work from project managers.
- Quality Control: Maintains a high level of quality and efficiency throughout the project, ensuring that demo meets First Onsite quality standards.
- Project Management: Updates all parties involved on work progress and informs them of changes/additions to original work orders or repair specifications.
- Team Leadership: Builds, leads, and deploys the best-quality team to achieve objectives of the corporate strategic plan.
- Health and Safety: Ensures that company health and safety policies and procedures are followed for all First Onsite personnel and sub-contractors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High level of construction process knowledge
- Project scheduling knowledge
- Minimum 3 years experience with proven track record in construction Supervisor / foreman position within the restoration/emergency (or a related) industry
- Detailed understanding of reconstruction practices for property that has suffered water, wind, mould, fire, and vandalism damages
- Knowledge of building codes and electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related codes
- Knowledge of laws and ordinances regulating building construction
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Computer skills required to effectively use Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Xactimate Knowledge Essential
- Accounting skills basic understanding of invoicing, billing, and general math skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence
