Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at OBC AUTOMOTIVE LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and estimating parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit, inspect motor in operation, and test automotive systems and components.
  • Adjust, Repair or Replace Parts: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, and estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Perform scheduled maintenance service, test and adjust units to specifications, and advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
