The Preventive Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, and supervising preventative and corrective maintenance tasks. This role promotes continuous improvement in a fast-paced workplace and requires regular field inspections in an industrial environment to develop a thorough understanding of the various plant machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety: Ensure compliance with OH&S and environment policies for Maintenance personnel.
  • Maintenance Inspections & Planning: Frequent walk-by running inspections and comprehensive shutdown inspections are critical to developing a familiarity with plant operation.
  • Problem Solving: This role acts as a trouble-shooter for recurring or complex failures.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Internship experience in an industrial work environment is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact with plant personnel and unionized workers.
