Caring Touch Health Care Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Support clients with mobility issues, such as transferring, repositioning, and ambulation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, and engage in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care, including progress notes and medication administration records.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate in a related field, such as healthcare, social services, or personal support work.
  • Experience working with clients who require assistance with daily living activities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting, bending, and transferring clients.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
