Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and providing technical support to our production teams.
About the Role:This is a full-time position that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have experience in quality assurance, auditing, and testing, as well as knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and BRC Packaging standards.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine and special audits of processes and products to identify opportunities for improvement and material non-conformances;
- Complete all required supplier documentation, customer certificates of conformance, and other reports;
- Participate in and lead quality improvement teams;
- Provide technical and administrative support to the Quality department;
- Verify supplier quality and issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) when required;
- Uphold and support the Company's Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies;
- Five years' experience as a Quality Auditor in a manufacturing environment;
- Strong math skills, including statistical data analysis and basic algebra;
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and BRC Packaging standards, HACCP an asset;
- Understanding of standard process control;
- Ability to work without direct supervision, self-starter;
- Physical requirements include ability to stand and walk for long periods, good visual acuity, and physical dexterity;
