We are seeking a skilled Personal Support Worker to join our team at Radiant Care Tabor Manor.

About the Role

This is a full-time contract position, offering a competitive hourly wage range of $23.97 - $25.82 per hour.

Responsibilities

As a Personal Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient personal care to residents, including activities of daily living, to ensure their physical, social, recreational, spiritual, and psychological well-being.

  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families;
  • Provide excellent customer service in a respectful, courteous, and pleasant manner;
  • Deliver individualized service in a home-like setting;
  • Adapt to changing resident needs and adjust service delivery as required under the direction of the ADOC/DOC;
  • Observe and report changes in resident status;
  • Record necessary data on resident health and provision of service;
  • Assist with the care of equipment in the home and personal belongings of residents;
  • Collaborate with team members;
  • Receive direction from registered staff;
  • Participate in quality improvement activities, in-service sessions, training as required;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Training and education in caring for seniors in long-term care;
  • Demonstrated experience in caring for seniors in long-term care;
  • Current CPR Certification (an asset);
  • Valid PSW Certification.
