Global Oil Gas Senior Maintenance Engineer

Job SummaryThis role is ideal for a seasoned professional with hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in the area of rotating equipment. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in manufacturing drawings, CNC 5-axis machining, and CAD/CAM applications to maintain and repair our corporate equipment.
Responsibilities:- Provide technical support in the manufacturing of spare parts for rotating equipment, including process selection, manufacturing plans, and CAM programming.
- Offer technical consultation to Shops, Operating Repair Units, and Contractor Shops.
- Support field installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, modify existing equipment, and identify cost reductions and process improvements.
- Prepare design engineering packages for rotating equipment.
- Conduct technical investigations for shop repair return jobs, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Implement the latest technology in manufacturing methodology.
- Develop and revise departmental technical procedures and standards.
- Coach and share knowledge with junior engineers, quality inspectors, and technicians.
- Provide technical input for purchasing specifications including technical proposal evaluation.
- Collaborate with department engineers, Consulting Services Department (CSD), and other company departments and manufacturers.
- Coordinate with In-House Repair Units, Quality Assurance units, In-Kingdom Contractors, and vendors for shop repair work scopes.
- Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in the manufacturing field, with specific expertise in the mechanical design and manufacturing of major rotating equipment.
- Proficiency in CNC 5-axis machining and CAD/CAM applications such as NX, Siemens, and SolidWorks.
- Experience in reverse engineering is highly preferable.
- Ability to train and develop younger engineers.
- Excellent English reading and writing skills.
