Job Title: Family Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Asperia Medical Clinic Inc.

Job Summary:

The Family Medicine Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. This includes conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and prescribing medications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and document patient medical history and current health status
  • Conduct physical examinations and order diagnostic tests as needed
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including mental health conditions
  • Prescribe and manage medications, including vaccinations and immunizations
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in family medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
