About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Kensington Medical Clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in family medicine is preferred.
  • Key Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Job Requirements
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
  • Medication and Treatment: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed.
  • Patient Education and Support: Provide patients with education and support on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Hold a College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in family medicine.
Work Environment
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
