We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to provide system administration expertise for all system components and software to effectively support Fundserv's Azure Cloud, Linux and Solaris servers in a hybrid DevOps environment.

In this role, you will:

  1. Develop and Implement Automation Solutions. Utilize expertise in DevOps practices, YAML configuration, synthetic JavaScript monitoring, and Ansible automation programming to standardize and automate operational processes and tasks.
  2. Design and Maintain Infrastructure Build and Provisioning Processes. Leverage orchestration and configuration management tools like Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Red Hat Satellite to ensure efficient and reliable infrastructure operations.
  3. Implement and Automate Security Controls and Governance Processes. Understand, implement, and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation to safeguard Fundserv's systems.
  4. Support Core System Software and Microservices. Assist with Azure Kubernetes Service, APIM, Confluent Cloud Kafka, application servers, and middleware components to ensure seamless system operations.
  5. Collaborate with Development Teams in Agile Environments. Work closely with application development teams to build, operate, and support CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize system tuning.
  6. Monitor System Performance and Reliability. Ensure maximum uptime for critical applications by logging and analyzing system performance.
  7. Create and Update Procedural and Support Documentation. Provide clear documentation for system administrators and other stakeholders.
  8. Provide On-Call Support. Offer 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis to ensure prompt issue resolution.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Managing Hybrid IT Infrastructure: Manage, maintain, and upgrade IT infrastructure in hybrid environments, including Azure Cloud, Red Hat Linux, and Solaris platforms.
  • Container Orchestration: Manage container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring and Logging Tools: Operate application and infrastructure monitoring/logging tools like New Relic.
  • Alert Monitoring and Dashboard Creation: Create alert monitoring, dashboard, and write JavaScript for synthetic monitoring.
  • DevOps Collaboration: Collaborate closely with DevOps teams utilizing a strong understanding of DevOps processes and tools.
  • Time Management and Project Deadlines: Independently manage your time, ensuring project deadlines are met within an agile environment.
  • Rotating On-Call Support: Participate in rotating 24 x 7 on-call support.
