Overview:
Fionn Maccool's Bovaird is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes for our customers.
Languages:
English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this position.
Experience:
7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is necessary.
Work Setting:
This role is based on site, with no option for remote work. You will be working in a restaurant and bar setting, handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include preparing and cooking complete meals, inspecting kitchens and food service areas, training staff in preparation and cooking, ordering supplies and equipment, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining inventory and records.
Additional Information:
Work conditions and physical capabilities include attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and working in a physically demanding environment. Personal suitability includes client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and time management.
