Supply Chain Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Assistant to join our team at Far East North America Food (2014) Ltd.
Job Summary:The Supply Chain Assistant will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, materials, and supplies from one place to another. This includes determining the method of shipment, preparing shipping documents, and assembling containers and crates.
Key Responsibilities:- Shipping and Receiving: Determine the method of shipment, prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents, and assemble containers and crates.
- Inventory Management: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, and maintain an internal record-keeping system.
- Warehouse Operations: Record shortages and reject damaged goods, route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped, and unpack goods received.
- Green Job: This role involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, assist with immediate settlement needs, and support social and labour market integration.
- Support for Youths: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment, offer on-the-job training, and provide awareness training to employees.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people, provide cultural competency training, and facilitate access to Elders.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work 30 to 36 hours per week
