About the Role
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on our equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, including inspections, repairs, and replacements
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or equivalent training desired
- Previous experience with heavy equipment maintenance and repair, preferably with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment
- Valid Red Seal (Heavy Duty) certification an asset
