About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at Renovatedly Inc. as a Bricklayer and Mason. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing and installing masonry units, including bricks, concrete blocks, and structural tiles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction and Installation: Prepare and lay masonry units, including bricks, stone, and concrete blocks, to provide a strong and durable foundation for buildings and structures.
  • Veneer Facing: Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide a decorative and protective facing for buildings and structures.
  • Prefabricated Units: Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, such as patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations.
  • Tool Operation: Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Chimney and Fireplace Construction: Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Industrial Chimney Installation: Lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Possess basic security clearance.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate and reliable, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
