About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at Jagir Contracting Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build walls, chimneys, and other structures
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
  • Build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations
  • Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in masonry
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 to 40 hours of work per week
Work Environment

This role requires working in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. You must be able to work in a team and have excellent communication skills.
