Reg Surveillance Technician

Job Summary

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a skilled Reg Surveillance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our surveillance team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of video and access control equipment across our properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain CCTV and access control systems
• Train team members on equipment use
• Prepare and follow a preventative maintenance schedule
• Research new products and technologies, and provide recommendations
• Communicate effectively with operational departments
• Build strong working relationships with guests and team members
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Electronics Engineering or a suitable combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical closed circuit TV environment
• Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Lift Training, and WHMIS certification
• Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
• Valid Driver's License
• Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required

Work Environment Considerations

• Work within a 24/7 operation with ability to work flexible hours when required
• Must be willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization, standards, and position
