Position Summary
Shorelines Casino is currently seeking a skilled Reg Surveillance Technician to join our team. Under the general direction of the Regional Manager, Surveillance, this position is responsible for the installation and maintenance of video and access control equipment across the Shorelines bundle of properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain CCTV and Access Control systems; install new systems
- Install and maintain technical software and databases
- Train team members on equipment use
- Prepare and follow an approved Preventative Maintenance Schedule
- Research new products and technologies; provide recommendations
- Communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Build strong working relationships with guests and team members
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications
- Post-Secondary education in Electronics Engineering or suitable combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical closed circuit TV environment
- Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Lift Training, and WHMIS certification
- Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
- Valid Driver's License
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required
Work Environment Considerations
- Work within a 24/7 operation with ability to work flexible hours when required (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization, standards, and position
