Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Generalist to join our team at Insight Enterprises, Inc. As a Senior IT Generalist, you will be responsible for managing and supporting various IT infrastructure and systems, with a particular focus on email, internet, network, file servers, backup, security, and overall IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Email Management: Oversee the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the organization's email systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Internet and Network Management: Manage and support all aspects of the organization's internet connectivity and network infrastructure. This includes monitoring network performance, managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), and ensuring reliable and secure access.
  • File Servers: Administer and maintain file servers, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security. This includes managing user access, permissions, and storage quotas.
  • Backup Solutions: Develop, implement, and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data protection and business continuity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field - or applicable experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support and system administration roles.
  • Strong knowledge of email systems (e.g., Exchange, Office 365), network protocols, and internet technologies.
  • Proficiency in managing file servers, backup solutions, and IT security tools.
