Job Title: Renovation Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Renovation Carpenter to join our team at Bhullar Excavating and Demolition Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for renovating and maintaining residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measurements to ensure compliance with building codes
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures
Work Environment:

As a Renovation Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. You must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to work on site with minimal supervision
