Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are provided to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain accurate records of stock, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of sales and wastage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with staff, clients, and management on a regular basis.
