About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at AC Custom Wood Inc. as a Custom Woodwork Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinets and millwork for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study plans, specifications, and drawings of articles to be made, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, reinforcing joints as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Handle weights of over 45 kg (100 lbs) and work with various tools and equipment, including steel-toed safety boots.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the field of cabinetmaking or woodworking is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with efficient interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Accurate and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Availability for shift or on-call work, with the ability to work in a variety of settings, including custom cabinet shops and millwork shops.
