At Kaymen Steel Inc., we are seeking a seasoned Construction Operations Director to lead our team in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects, with expertise in allocating resources, coordinating teams, and ensuring timely project completion.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of $175,000 to $275,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will be based in North America and will be required to relocate for this role.

In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for:

  • Allocating Material, Human, and Financial Resources: Oversee the implementation of organizational policies and programs, ensuring that all necessary resources are allocated efficiently to meet project goals.
  • Coordinating Team Efforts: Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication among team members.
  • Establishing Financial Controls: Formulate and approve promotional campaigns, as well as establish financial and administrative controls to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Representing the Organization: Represent Kaymen Steel Inc. in negotiations, meetings, and other official functions, ensuring that the company's interests are represented effectively.
  • Selecting Executive Staff: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegating necessary authority and creating optimum working conditions.

  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, develop creative solutions, and implement effective strategies to drive business growth.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including employees, clients, and partners.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as experience with QuickBooks.
