At First Town Foods, we are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Retail Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in supervising staff, managing sales, and organizing inventory.


About the Role


We estimate the salary for this position to be around $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience. As a Senior Retail Team Leader, you will oversee a team of 5-10 staff members, assigning duties, hiring, training, and resolving issues. You will also manage cash, inventory, and sales, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities



  • Staff Supervision: Assign tasks, provide guidance, and evaluate performance to ensure high standards are met.
  • Sales Management: Authorize payments, order merchandise, and facilitate returns to maintain efficient sales processes.
  • Inventory Organization: Maintain optimal stock levels, coordinate worker activities, and optimize storage space.
  • Reporting: Prepare accurate reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Issue Resolution: Manage customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.
  • Cash Management: Count and manage cash transactions securely.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular evaluations to assess staff performance and identify areas for improvement.

Work Environment


This is a fast-paced role that requires adaptability and attention to detail. You will work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, combining sitting, standing, and walking as needed.


Requirements



  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a retail or management role, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English is essential.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
